About the Faculty

 
Dr. D M Kulkarni is a Senior Professor in Mechanical Engineering in BITS Pilani, K K Birla Goa Campus. He has his Masters from IIT Kharagpur and PhD from BITS Pilani. He has 27 years of teaching and 3 years of industrial experience. 
 
He has published 60+ papers in the International and National journals of repute & conferences. Also, he has published a book on Engineering Graphics with AutoCAD, published by Prentice Hall India (PHI), New Delhi)
 
He has been awarded 2 times (2011 & 2012) for 'Faculty Excellence' for his contribution in Teaching, Research and Administration. He was also awarded by BITS alumni for 'Distinguished Faculty Award' (2010).
 
He is a founder of Goa Chapter of Indian Institute of Metals (IIM) and the 1st Chairman of Goa Chapter of IIM [Jul-2016 to Jul-2018]. He was Convenor of the 71st Annual Technical Meetings and 55th National Metallurgist Day, NMD-ATM, 2017 of Indian Institute of Metals, 11-14-Nov, 2017. [1150 Participants | 1.8 Cr Sponsorship].
