  • Vishwakarma - Operations Club

    Vision:
    To create awareness about operations management and enhance industry interaction to create industry ready professionals.
     
    Mission:
    The Club shall provide the platform for the interaction of students, faculty, alumni, business leaders and researchers. Our focus is on getting the insight in business strategy as well as the intersection of these fields with investment banking, analytics, and consulting. Our goal is to utilize the knowledge and efforts of today’s business leaders to create the executives, entrepreneurs and policymakers of tomorrow.
     
    The club conducts events in a periodic manner which includes student-student interaction as well as student-industry interaction.

  • The Industry Linkage Club

    The guiding ethos at BITS,Pilani is to establish an intellectually stimulating and educative one on one dialogue between students and intellectuals from both the academic and corporate world. We at BITS firmly believe that the relationship between a corporate and the faculty does not end and begin with recruitment but stabilizes and evolves with academic interaction between students and senior executives of the company.

    Also building a campus presence is an essential first step in organizing a successful recruiting visit to BITS. Prior information and contact aids the students to know the company, its environment and the nature of work better. This helps the students take an informed decision. It also assists the company in evaluating the campus and students for a prospective long-term relationship. There are many ways in which one may generate awareness about the firm on the campus. Some of these have been listed below:

    Senior Executives of your firm can come down and talk to the students about both management theory and practice. The guest talks can be arranged in collusion with either one of the students' societies or the Corporate Relations and Placement cell. The state of the art video Conferencing Facility at BITS could be utilized to organize a one on one interaction with the students through the comfort of your office.

    Industry Linkage club:

    Industrial Linkage Club  (ILC) aims to lessen the gap between the industry and the academics by organizing Guest Lectures, Workshops, Case Studies and facilitating group interaction with distinguished personalities in the industry and academia. ILC helps students scout for Summer Internships and aids the Placement committee for Final Placements. The main aim of the club is to familiarize the students with the concept of "LEARN TO EARN - study to work".

    Industry Linkage Club (ILC) as part of Management Association, Department of Management, BITS PILANI lays the platform for the students to interact with Industry expertise.We learn not only from our experience but from others too. To serve this purpose we arrange Guest lectures, talks and interactive sessions with Corporate Leaders.We not only do by learning but also learn by doing. We conduct workshops and trainings which provide hands on experience for students and keep ourselves updated with skills.We aim to bridge the gap between what Industries require of students and what the academics prepare them for.

Beginning from the conception of the magazine to the presentation of select writings, it has been our aim to reflect the values and the quality of the institution itself. The magazine is published bi-annually.     Higher degree students at BITS get the opportunity to work as teaching and professional assistant for various divisions and departments across the institute, which offer invaluable financial assistance and professional development opportunities to the students. Students opting for these graduate assistantships are expected to help their respective department heads and faculty in various academic, research and administrative tasks.

  • Media Relations Club

    Media relations club takes care of branding BITS MBA, representing it to the outer world, regularly
    updating various activities being held in campus, previous batch’s performance. MRC also forms the
    portal of interaction between MBA program aspirants and Department of management, facilitating
    admissions process, communicating important dates, notifications and addressing aspirant’s queries
    through various social media platforms.

    The Mission of Manav The HR Club is to spread knowledge in the field of Human Resources for students and to bridge the gap between the necessary people skills required in every domain.
     
    Recent Highlights: Conducted 4 successful Events as a part of Interface 2017 which received excellent outstation participation from various B Schools and Engg.   • Interface 2017 - 40th Annual Management Convention

    INTERFACE 2017 
    Date: 17- 19 February 2017

    Department of Management, BITS Pilani presents the 40th Annual Management Convention, Interface-2017.

    Interface provides a platform for students and professionals to come alive with the skills and ideas that are necessary to run the ever dynamic and fast growing industries in India.

    Over the past 39 years, INTERFACE has successfully established itself as the defining management fest that brings corporate, B-school students, academia and consumers together. It is a Pan-India Management Fest where students have come alive with exceptional managerial dexterity, innovative business ideas and incomparable entrepreneurial skills.

    The 3 day Management Convention is being organized from 17th February, 2017 to 19th February, 2017.
    The fest comprised of the events and talks form the various functional domains of management viz. Marketing, Finance, HRM and Operations. These events were open to all the B-schools across the country.

  • Embryo Club

    Scientists and industry leaders are always keen to share their knowledge and expertise with the zealous students. BITS Embryo provides just that bridge where by BITS Alumni and other industry experts can their great wealth of knowledge and experience through online talks. Embryo seeks to equip students share the insights of the experts in the industry by organizing a series of online lectures.

    "Smiti Saxena Secured 2nd position in National level Article Writing Competition- Arthshastra, organised by IIM Ranchi in November 2016. The article was on Crude oil industry and its impact on Indian economy."
     

  • MarkX @ Vihaan BIMTECH Noida | 1st Prize

    In this event, the participants will be given specific regions across the world, from which the participants had to pick a country belonging to that region and decide and present a crisp plan of action to promote /advertise/market a particular product or service of their choice keeping in mind the critical aspects such as the cultures, trends, rituals, beliefs, regulations and practices prevailing in the chosen country/region so as to be in sync with the country’s norms.

  • Vittraj-Finance Case Study Competition@ IIT Kanpur

    Maanik Goel, Aakarshi Sharma and Rohtash S Rathore from MBA Batch 2016-18 participated in Vittraj- Finance Case Study Competition organized by DIME, IIT Kanpur. The competition was a part of the IIT Kanpur B-School festival Prabandhan 2016. The students presented a financial case study on Samsonite's strategies. They were declared the first runner-up in the event.
