About the Faculty

  • Dr. Mahesh, Professor, Department of Pharmacy joined the Department in 1989. He served as Dean, Faculty Affairs, from May, 2011 to May 2018. He has vast experience in the field of Molecular Modeling and Drug Design, Neurochemistry, Neuropharmacology and Clinical Pharmacy which comprises of his major areas of research. He is passionate to pursue research in the area of biomedical instrumentation also.
  • He has more than 30 years of teaching, research and administrative experience at BITS-Pilani. He has guided 12 Ph.D students. He has guided more than 100 B. Pharm. and M. Pharm. students on various projects. Several of his projects have won awards in Academic Exhibitions held at BITS, Pilani.
  • He is life time member of Association of Pharmaceutical Teachers of India, Neurochemical Society of India and Indian Pharmacological Society. He has published more than 90 papers in international/national Journal and more than 60 papers in conferences of national or international repute.
