• More than twenty five years of experience in Academics and three and half years of experience in Industry. Have been involved in classroom teaching, pursuing research, guiding research and Industrial consultancy project for last twenty years.
• Current research interest is in the area of Rehabilitation Robotics to address stroke and other form of disabilities in arm and lower limb for rehabilitation process. Attempting to understand and implement the Body Machine Interface for improvement in the quality of life.
• Specializes in Industrial Robotics and the use of statistical techniques to model, synthesize and optimize complex dynamic systems. Developed computer vision based controller for robot assembly process.
• Expertise in the Design for Manufacturability and Performance and specializes in design optimization (Parameter design and tolerance design of a mechanical equipment). Have advised and reviewed Ph.D works in these areas.
• Involved in teaching and consultancy of subjects related to Robotics, Mechatronics, Quality Engineering, and Operations Research. Delivered specialized lectures to faculty and research students on invitation.
• Worked on a Government funded sponsored research and development project to develop humanoid to avoid obstacles and handle specified objects in the environment.
• Guided research students in the areas of mobile robotics, topologically optimized compliant structure and mechanism and vision-based robotic assemblies.
• Involved in Curriculum Development of various Universities in India and actively participated in redesign and audit process of Teaching and Learning Process.
• Visiting Academic Scholar in the Year 2010 to Advanced Robotics Research Center at Salford University, New Manchester (UK).
• IUSSTF Research Fellow in the Year 2012 to Rehabilitation Institute of Chicago, Affiliated to Feinberg School of Medicine, Northwestern University Chicago, Illinois (USA).
