BITS Goa Library
Welcome to BITS Goa Library Overview
Facilities
Beginning with a core collection of 1700 books that was transferred from the Pilani Campus, the Library at BITS Goa presently houses 44,230 books and subscribes to periodicals. The Library focuses on a centralized process of acquisition and its collection is steadily growing. In addition to books and periodicals, the Library collection includes CDs, audio/video cassettes, EDD Notes, Distance Learning Program Division study materials, dissertations, reports, project records, and question papers of the Institute exams.
The Library is fully computerised and the catalogue of books and other resources is available online from any place through the campus network. This network enables one to reserve the books one might need as well as to check the status pertaining to the issue and return of books. The online Library Management System affords the students the ease of navigating the Library resources from the intimacy of their hostel rooms.
Journals and Publications
There are a number of free and subscription-based journals and reports that are accessible to the students and faculty at BITS Pilani. All online resources can also be accessed remotely, as the Library has uploaded them on the Shibboleth platform.
Old Question Papers
We understand that one of the key components of preparing for any examination is to solve the old question papers. In our endeavour to maintain transparency and help the students in their quest for knowledge and better performance, we make old question papers accessible online.
