Faculty Affairs Division

  • The Faculty Affairs Division (FAD) with its office in K K Birla Goa Campus is responsible for implementation of all Institutional policies related to faculty of BITS Pilani K K Birla Goa Campus.
  • It coordinates all activities related to recruitment, promotions, compensation and benefits, re-appointments and re-designations, extensions and superannuation, industry immersion and university exposure abroad, policies related to career growth and related guidelines, health and family welfare, housing, performance appraisals and rewards, etc.

Greeting's !

The Birla Institute of Technology & Science(BITS) Pilani, founded in 1964, is an all-India Institute for Higher Education and Research which is committed to generating, disseminating, and preserving knowledge, and to working with others to bring this knowledge to bear on the world's great challenges. BITS Pilani, which became an Institute of Eminence in 2018, is committed to push it's Teaching and Research to a new height of Excellence. It is thriving towards attracting exceptionally bright research individuals as its faculty members.

The faculty members finds BITS Pilani a unique place to hone their Teaching and Research Excellence to the highest level. The Faculty Affairs Division in BITS Pilani K K Birla Goa Campus, which works in close coordination with other Academic Divisions and 10 Departments of the Institute, do provide the necessary support system which enable the faculty members to give their best in Teaching and Research and make significant impact on Institute building. On May 17, 2022, I took charge as the Associate Dean, Faculty Affairs Division of BITS Pilani K K Birla Goa Campus. We set our vision on the four themes : Teaching, Research, Outreach, and strategic planning - support our faculty colleagues - and help in building the future of BITS Pilani University.

Faculty Orientation Program (17th August & 18th August 2024) 

  • Recently, the Faculty Affairs Division organized an Orientation Program for the New Faculty members of BITS Pilani K K Birla Goa campus. The program was for 2 days - 17th August  & 18th August 2024 and almost  34 new faculty members participated in that orientation program. Heads/'In-Charges of different divisions of Teaching & Sponsored Research (GADMIN, FAD,AUGSD, AGSRD, SRCD, CSIF, CIIE, BioNest, BioCyTiH), International Programme(IPCD), Alumni division, Computer Centre, APPCAIR, Maintenance, Finance/purchase, WILP, Placement, Students Admission, Student Welfare, Faculty Affairs, Human Resource(HR), Campus Welfare, Public relation, Health centre, Campus Security described in details the function and activities of their respective divisions.
