BITS-Pilani in association with Department of Science & Technology, Ministry of Science & Technology, Government of India and National Commission for Scientific & Technological Research, Ministry of Education, Republic of Chile is organizing an "Indo-Chile Workshop on Big Data" (ICWBD 2014) from 4th to 6th June 2014 at BITS Pilani, K K Birla Goa Campus, Goa, India. The workshop aims at bringing experts from India and Chile who would share their research on current developments in Big Data.
The broad themes of the workshop include Big Data Analytics, Applications of Big Data in Astro-Informatics, Computational Biology and Personalized Medicine, Agri-Bioinformatics and Food Sustainability etc. High Performance Computing will be the cross-cutting theme. The workshop will also include a few talks from industry experts on practical aspects of Big Data.
