Formulation For Wound Healing
Inventors:
Dr. Aniruddha Roy , Swati Sharma
Conventional wound dressings lack satisfactory adhesion, delaying healing. A scaffold is needed to promote wound healing with hemostatic potential, adaptable to various wound shapes and sizes.
The development of a scaffold composition using a polyelectrolyte complex of chitosan and chondroitin sulfate, along with a kit for in-situ scaffold formation, innovatively enhances wound healing capabilities.
The device features movable supports, an upper loading plate, and adjustable rollers, enabling three-point or four-point flexural fatigue strength testing with reversible bending stresses.
