One JRF position under DBT funded project

Applications are invited from highly motivated students for the position of Junior Research Fellow / Project Associate I in the Departments of Biological Sciences and Computer Science and Information Systems at BITS Pilani, K. K. Birla Goa Campus, Goa for a DBT sponsored research project titled “Developing Predictive Models for ‘druglikeness’ of small molecules” (BT/PR40236/BTIS/137/51/2022).

Co-Principal Investigators: Sukanta Mondal and Ashwin Srinivasan

Broad area of Research: Application of AI in drug design

Duration of the project: Five years

Fellowship Amount (Rs.): 31,000 + 8% HRA if applicable (for candidates with GATE/NET qualification)

Accommodation: Hostel accommodation will be provided subject to availability and will be governed by the rules and regulations of the Institute prevailing at the time of joining of the candidate.

Qualification: Post Graduate Degree in Computer Science/Bioinformatics/Computational Biology/allied subjects with very good academic record throughout. Preference will be given to candidates with GATE/NET qualification and a proven track record of application of AI tools in biological/chemical systems. Relaxation norms of the government of India will be duly followed in short listing of the candidates.
