Assistant Professor, Department of Electrical & Electronics Engineering
Under the direction of Prof. Mohammad S. Hashmi, I have completed my Ph.D. in “Conceptualization, Analysis, and Design of Miniaturized EBG Surfaces and Antenna for WBAN Applications” at Indraprastha Institute of Information Technology, Delhi, India (Govt. of Delhi). After that I worked as a postdoc fellow at the National Research University, Higher School of Economics, Moscow, Russia under Prof. Andrey Yelizarov from 01/09/2020 till 30/11/2021 and 22/05/2022 - 30/05/2023. Recently I have started working as an Assistant Professor in BITS, Pilani, Pilani Campus, India.
My core research focuses on the design of planar and conformal meta-surfaces (electromagnetic bandgap surfaces) based antenna, EM wave propagation along the body, and away from the body, development of liquid phantom, measurement of antenna parameters in air and on the phantom in the wireless body area network. I am also actively involved in wireless power transfer systems (single, dual, and tri-band). My research has applications in the areas of RF and microwave in medical health applications.
