Applications are invited for ONE position of Research Fellow/PhD Student on project, “Development of a prototype model for optimal load balancing strategy in a Peer-to-Peer energy trading network of renewable energy prosumers with economic benefits” under the supervision of Prof. Sandip S. Deshmukh and Prof. Alivelu Manga Parimi.
Deadline: 15th December 2023
Objectives
1) Design and development of multiple lab-scale renewable energy microgrids with prosumer features.
2) Development of optimal control strategy framework to monitor self-produced energy for energy trading tasks
3) Development of Peer-to-peer (P2P) trading optimizations.
4) Techno-economic analysis and Return of Investment analysis of the P2P distribution network.
This position is applicable only to PhD aspirants. The candidates check the eligibility criteria and qualification process of the PhD program of BITS Pilani (Doctoral Programme (Ph.D.)).
Essential Qualification: ME/MTech in EEE above 70%
Note: GATE qualification is not mandatory for this position.
Fellowship: ₹37,000 - ₹42,000 per month (based on the year of PhD and performance)
Duration: As per BITS Pilani norms (Doctoral Programme (Ph.D.))
