The Institutional Human Ethics Committee (IHEC), BITS-Pilani, Rajasthan, is a registered ethical committee with CDSCO and Dept. of Health Research, Govt. of India as per Amendments to Drugs and Cosmetics Rules that were published vide G.S.R.72 (E) dated 08.02.2013 specifying the requirements and guidelines for registration of Ethics Committee. 

 

IHEC BITS Pilani, comprising of medical, scientific, non-medical and nonscientific members, whose responsibility is to ensure the protection of the rights, safety and well-being of human subjects involved in biomedical research.
