About
Sushma B S, first year PhD student. I completed my Undergraduate and Postgraduate in Biotechnology at Bangalore University and joined as Research Assistant at Centre for Sustainable Technologies, Indian Institute of Science, Bengaluru under Prof N H Ravindranath and currently working at Centre for Atmospheric and Oceanic Sciences, IISc under Prof G Bala. Through my doctoral research, I aim to explore how local adaptation strategies can be aligned with national climate goals to ensure more equitable and sustainable outcomes. I am keen to develop adaptation strategies that can be more effectively mobilized to support communities that are on the frontlines of climate change.
