I am an empirical economist and my research interests are household finance issues, corporate governance and public policy issues. I am also a fellow of the Global Labor Organization (GLO) since 2022.

Prior to joining BITS Pilani in 2019, I was working as Assistant Professor at School of Economics, NMIMS, Mumbai from 2015 to 2019. I have also worked at Deloitte and KPMG as a transfer pricing consultant. 

I have received my PhD in 2017 from Indira Gandhi Institute of Development Research, Mumbai. I hold a Masters in Economics from Indira Gandhi Institute of Development Research, Mumbai and B.Sc. Economics (H) from St. Xavier's College, Kolkata.
