BITS Pilani Celebrates Women Across Campuses: A Week of Empowerment and Inspiration!
Across all campuses, BITS Pilani pulsed with a week-long celebration of Women's Day. From Hyderabad's "W/T"alk-athon to Dubai's "Go Green" kickoff, the events were as diverse as the women they honoured. Inspiring talks by icons like Governor Tamilisai Soundarajan (Hyderabad) and self-defense workshops in Dubai empowered attendees. Health took centre stage with discussions on breast cancer screening (Goa) and women's wellness (Dubai).
Entrepreneurship wasn't left behind! Both Goa and Hyderabad highlighted the thriving network of female founders supported by BITS Pilani, including the Womenpreneurs for Bharat program. The celebration wasn't just about external speakers - accomplished faculty like Drs. Swati Biswas and Yogeeswari (Hyderabad) and Meenal Kowshik (Goa) were recognized for their scientific achievements. The week culminated in discussions on mental health and gender-inclusive language, solidifying BITS Pilani's commitment to a diverse and empowered future for all.
