I am currently working as an Assistant Professor (Grade-I) in the Electrical and Electronics Engineering Department of Birla Institute of Technology and Science (BITS)-Pilani, Hyderabad Campus. I am also associated with the Materials Center for Sustainable Energy & Environment and Centre for Research Excellence in Semiconductor Technology at BITS-Pilani, Hyderabad Campus.

I have received my B.Tech. degree in Information Technology from the Maulana Abul Kalam Azad University of Technology, West Bengal, India in 2008, and M.Tech. degree in VLSI Design from Indian Institute of Engineering Science and Technology, Shibpur, in 2012. I have received my Ph.D. degree from the Indian Institute of Engineering Science and Technology, Shibpur, in 2017. I was the recipient of the CSIR Senior Research Fellowship and CSIR Research Associateship in 2013 and 2018, respectively. I have been enlisted as a Golden Reviewer for IEEE Transaction on Electron Devices from 2018 to 2022 and a Trusted Reviewer of IOP for 2020. I was elevated to the senior member grade of IEEE in 2021. I have been featured in 2024 World Top 2% Scientist by the Sandford University and Elsevier in Applied Physics sub-field.

I am a semiconductor device engineer and computational material scientist having expertise in post-CMOS semiconductor devices and nano-materials/quantum materials simulation, design, and modelling. At present, I am leading the Computational Nanomaterial and Nanodevice Research Group in BITS-Pilani, Hyderabad Campus. 

As of this date, I have completed the supervision of two doctoral thesis, and five research scholars are pursuing their doctoral research under my supervision. I have received the Outstanding Potential in Excellence in Research and Academics (OPERA) research fundings from BITS-Pilani in 2023, the Start-up Research Grant (SRG) research funding from the Science and Engineering Research Board (SERB), Gov. of India in 2021, Joint PhD Scheme Fundings with the La Trobe University Autralia and RMIT University Australia in 2023, and and Cross-Disciplinary Research Framework (CDRF) research fundings from BITS-Pilani in 2023. I have given 15 invited talks in national and international conferences/ workshops/ seminars.  I have authored 50 publications in international SCI journals, 12 publications in international conferences in India and abroad; and 6 publications in peer-reviewed book chapters.
