We had the opportunity to converse with Ankit Chaudhary, an amazing individual                from the BITS Pilani Class of 2009, who is a B.E in Computer Science graduate. He worked as a Sales Engineer at Fiorano, before going on to do an MBA from SP Jain               School of Global Management. He was also a part of many budding startups. He was a Senior Product Manager at Microsoft for more than 3 years before joining PAYTM as a director of Product Management. He achieved all these feats with a lot of rigor and passion in just a matter of 4-5 years.

Mr. Ankit Chaudhary’s journey of success began with his education at Birla Institute of Technology and Science, Pilani, armed with a strong academic foundation and an unwavering drive to excel, he embarked on a career path that would lead him to remarkable heights. After graduating from BITS Pilani, Mr. Chaudhary’s career took off with a series of pivotal roles in various organizations. His early experiences allowed him to gain a deep understanding of the technology and product management landscape, setting the stage for his future accomplishments.

He worked at Facebook as a Business Analyst and Community Operations as Associate to improve user satisfaction and reduce abuse on the site through data-driven insights, before actually shaping his career as a product manager. That’s when he joined Microsoft in a product role as a Senior Product Manager where he developed bing.com with his expertise in knowledge graph.

His time at BITS played a crucial role in developing his leadership and managerial skills. One of the most significant milestones in Mr. Chaudhary’s career was joining PAYTM, a leading player in the Indian fin-tech industry. He is currently working on the consumer app and some interesting ways to improve services and offerings on PAYTM.

Mr. Chaudhary is not only a successful product manager but also a thought leader in the field. He emphasizes the importance of customer-centric product development, innovation, and leveraging technology to create user-friendly solutions.
