Project Title

Investigations on Impacts of Variations in Local Site and Climatic Conditions on Field Performance of Grid-connected Solar Photovoltaic and Small Wind Energy Systems at BITS Pilani K K Birla Goa-Campus

Job Description

(i) To carry out the detailed literature survey, writing research papers  and  technical reports; (ii) Field performance monitoring of Solar PV and Small Wind Turbine Energy Conversion System; (iii) Analysis of weather data recorded at the site; (iv)

Simulation of performance of Solar and Wind Energy conversion systems and Prediction; v) Correlation studies on system performance and weather variation.

 

Essential Qualification

JRF- M.E./M.Tech. or equivalent degree in energy engineering, environmental engineering, electrical, or mechanical engineering with minimum aggregate 60% marks; M.Sc. (Physics) with specialization in Renewable Energy

SRF- Essential qualification as above with minimum two years of research work experience

Age Limit

28 years

Fellowship

Junior Research Fellow- Rs 37,000/- per month, Senior Research Fellow (SRF)- Rs.

42,000/- per month.
