My research expertise includes travel behavior analysis, travel demand modeling, mitigation of greenhouse emissions from urban transport, vehicular tailpipe emissions: conventional and electric vehicles (EVs), and traffic signal design. Specifically, the research focuses on forecasting the adoption of novel technologies in transportation (like autonomous vehicles or EVs) based on information received from media and social networks (collectively known as word of mouth) through econometric methods (advanced discrete choice models).
