How To Reach Pilani

Pilani can be reached either by road or by rail. The nearest airports are Indira Gandhi International (IGI) Airport, Delhi and Jaipur International Airport, Jaipur. Nearest railway stations are Chirawa on the Western Railway (16 Km) and Loharu on Northern railway (24 Km). There are regular bus services between Delhi-Pilani and Jaipur-Pilani. The buses leave Delhi from Inter State Bus Terminal (ISBT) and Kashmiri gate. From Jaipur buses leave from Rajasthan State Roadways bus stand, Sindhi camp. Campus is very close to Pilani bus stand.

Traveling by Train from Delhi

You can also take a train from Sarai Rohilla Railway Station in New Delhi (DLI) to Loharu Station (LHU).

Loharu is 26KM away from Pilani. Buses and jeeps are available from Loharu to Pilani. The BITS Pilani, Pilani Campus is very close to the Pilani bus stand.

Travelling by road from Delhi

Distance is 200 or 230 km depending on route taken and takes about 4.5 hours. There are four routes to get to Pilani (in order of preference) by road:

  1. Delhi - Bahadurgarh - Jhajjar - Charkhi Dadri - Loharu - Pilani (182 Kms)
  2. Delhi - Bahadurgarh - Rohtak - Bhiwani - Loharu - Pilani (208 Kms)
  3. Delhi - Gurgaon - Dharuheda - Rewari - Mahendragarh - Satnali - Loharu - Pilani (220 Kms)
  4. Delhi - Gurgaon - Dharuheda - Rewari - Narnaul - Singhana - Chirawa - Pilani (225 Kms)

Travelling by road from Jaipur

It takes about 4.5 – 5.0 hours.

Jaipur - Chomu - Reengus - Sikar - Nawalgarh - Jhunjhunu - Chirawa - Pilani (236 Kms)
