Short Note on Research Area: Climate change significantly impacts infrastructure, posing challenges such as increased frequency of extreme weather events, rising sea levels, and temperature fluctuations. Green buildings are designed to minimize environmental impact by using energy-efficient materials, reducing carbon emissions, and incorporating renewable energy sources. They are also built to be more resilient to climate change, with features that can withstand extreme weather conditions, reduce water usage, and promote better indoor environmental quality. By integrating these practices, green buildings help mitigate the effects of climate change while ensuring long-term sustainability and resilience of infrastructure.

Short Note on Research Area: Climate change poses a severe threat to biodiversity, altering ecosystems and disrupting the balance of life on Earth. Rising temperatures, changing precipitation patterns, and more frequent extreme weather events are leading to shifts in species distributions, changes in migration patterns, and loss of habitats. Many species struggle to adapt to these rapid changes, resulting in declines in populations, increased risk of extinction, and loss of biodiversity. Protecting biodiversity in the face of climate change requires concerted efforts to conserve habitats, reduce greenhouse gas emissions, and promote sustainable practices that support the resilience of ecosystems. By preserving biodiversity, we can help maintain the ecological balance and ensure a healthier planet for future generations.
