All tenured faculty members benefiting from New Faculty Seed rant (NFSG) will come under the new faculty promotion scheme by default, while other tenured faculty members will have the option to choose between the existing and new promotion policies, both subject to a minimum residency period in respective designations as mentioned in the short-listing criteria.
