About the Faculty

Dr. P. Danumjaya did his Ph.D. on Computational Partial Differential Equations from Department of Mathematics, Indian Institute of Technology, Bombay, India under the supervision of Prof. Amiya K. Pani. He joined Department of Mathematics, BITS-Pilani KK Birla Goa Campus on 9th January 2006.

Education

  • 2005-2006: Post-Doctoral Fellow,  Dept. of Mathematics, Indian Institute of Science, Bangalore.
  • 1999-2004: Ph.D., Dept. of Mathematics, Indian Institute of Technology, Bombay.
    Dissertation: "Finite Element Methods for the Extended Fisher-Kolmogorov (EFK) Equation"
    Supervisor: Prof. Amiya Kumar Pani
  • 1996-1999: M.Sc. (Tech.), Dept of Mathematics, Jawaharlal Nehru Technological University
                                                (JNTU), Hyderabad (Distinction with the percentage of marks: 74%).
  • 1992-1995: B.Sc. (Mathematics, Physics, Chemistry), Silver Jubilee Govt. Degree College,
                                           Kurnool, AP.   (Distinction with the percentage of marks: 70%).
