About the Faculty

Deepak Pachattu joined the Department of Physics, BITS Pilani K K Birla Goa Campus in 2005.  Born in Mysuru (or Mysore, as it was known earlier), the city of palaces, he obtained his B. Sc. degree from the Yuvaraja's College, Mysuru and his M. Sc. in Physics from the University of Mysore.  He subsequently received his Ph. D. degree in Physics from the University of Mysore in 2003.  Before joining BITS, he was a post-doctoral Fellow at the Indian Institute of Astrophysics, Bangalore, India and a Humboldt Research Fellow at Forschungszentrum Juelich, Germany.
