About the Faculty

Kanchan Manna is currently working as an Assistant Professor in the Department of Computer Science and Information Systems (CSIS) at the Birla Institute of Technology and Science (BITS)-Pilani, K K Birla Goa Campus, India. He received the PhD degree in computer science and engineering from the Indian Institute of Technology (IIT) Kharagpur, India. He also received the MS degree from the IIT Kharagpur, India. He has worked as a Research Fellow (RF) at the National University of Singapore (NUS), Singapore. He has served as an Assistant Professor at the IIT Patna, India. He joined as a Post-doctoral Scientist at the George Washington University (GWU), Washington, USA. He received a best paper award in the international conference on Parallel, Distributed and Grid Computing (PDGC). His PhD thesis presented in a premier conference ASP-DAC. His current research interests include design and test strategies of Network-on-Chip (NoC)-based systems, Computer Micro-architecture and system security. He is a senior member of the IEEE and a member of ACM.
