 International Summer Programme (Workshops & Course work)

  • Attended 2013 Summer Programme in Social and Transcultural Psychiatry at McGill University, Montreal, Canada (6th May – 30th May 2013). During this summer programme I have participated in two workshops: Working with Culture (Instructors: C. Rousseau, J. Guzder) and Qualitative Research Methods (Instructor: R. Whitley) and one coursework: Cultural Psychiatry (Instructor: L. J. Kirmayer).

Workshop Conducted

  1. Acted as the resource person for the 3-Day Workshop on Qualitative Research Methodology organised by UGC-CPEPA at the University of Calcutta, held online on August 28th, 4th, and 11th September, 2021.
  2. One-day workshop on Qualitative Research Methods for the faculty members of Sampurna Montfort College, Bengaluru, on July 11, 2016.
  3. Two days’ workshop on Qualitative data analysis to final year HRDM students at Christ University, Department of Psychology (November, 2015)

  1. National Workshop on Qualitative Research Methods: Potential for the Science of Well-Being and Self-Growth, Held at Department of Humanities and Social Sciences, Indian Institute of Technology Kanpur, Kanpur, (24th -27th February’10).
  2. Workshop on Developmental Disability held at the Department of Psychology, University of Calcutta (3rd-4th November’06).

  1. Worked as a tutor for the Introduction to Psychology (PSY151 & 151A) course at the Indian Institute of Technology, Kanpur (July–November 2012).
  2. Psychologist (for the Life Skills and Value Education Project in West Bengal) at the Society for Nature Education and Health (SNEH), Chakraberia Road (N), Kolkata (April–June, 2007).
