Research Group: Name of Ph.D. Scholar: Nehal A Waghchoure. Presently, working on Broad Researh Area: Nanocrystalline perovskites for Photocatalytic and Sensing applications. 

Research Interests:

  • Synthesis and Characterization of Materials (Bulk, Nanomaterials, Thin Films)
  • Design of cost-effective routes for the preparation of thin films and nanomaterials.
  • Processing-Structure-Property Correlation in Materials.
  • First-principle computational study of crystalline solids (e.g. Softwares used: Abinit and Quantum Espresso (Open source)) and Molecules (using Gaussian in collaboration with Computational Chemistry Group), Materials Cartography.
  • Above research topics are included in Project courses (Study/Computation/Reading/First-degree Thesis) offered to First-degree Programs.
