The Department of Chemistry at BITS Pilani, Hyderabad Campus is devoted towards teaching and research. Some of our major research thrust areas include green chemistry, nano materials, polymers, bio-inorganic chemistry, medicinal chemistry, environmental analytical chemistry, synthetic organic chemistry and computational chemistry.

TWO Full-Time PhD Positions

Junior Research Fellow

Applications are invited for one position of Junior Research Fellow (JRF) in a Bharat Petroleum Corporation Limited funded project entitled “Single Step Hydrogenation of CO2 to Ethanol with H2 from water-splitting over Single Atom Catalysts & Single Atom Bimetallic and Trimetallic Alloys in Flow Reactor” under the supervision of Dr. Sounak Roy (PI), Dr. B M Reddy (Co-PI) Deserving JRF may be considered for Ph.D. program at BITS-Pilani if (s)he meets the requirements of Ph.D. qualification process as per the institute norms.
