Prof I Sreedhar has done B.Tech in Chemical Engineering from NIT Warangal, M.Tech from IIT Delhi and Ph.D from BITS Pilani. He has more than 25 years of experience in industry, academia and research. He has published around 90 articles in highly reputed international journals, 4 book chapters, 1 patent, 54 conference proceedings. He is involved in sponsored projects worth more than 2 crores (INR) from various agencies. He has been elected as a Fellow of Telangana Academy of Sciences (FTAS), Fellow of Royal Society of Chemistry (FRSC), Fellow Institute of Engineers India (FIE) and a Life member of IIChE (LM-IIChE). He is the recipient of Dr C R Mitra-Best Faculty Award from BITS Pilani in 2023. He was featured in Top 2% of World’s Top Scientists as per the data curated by the Stanford University in 2020, 2021. He is on the editorial board of the journals of J CO2 Utilization, Environmental science and Pollution Research (Guest editor), Discover Applied Sciences, Discover Chemical Engineering etc. Ten scholars have done or pursuing PhD under his guidance besides many ME dissertations, BE Theses and projects. He has been working in the Department of Chemical Engineering, BITS Pilani Hyderabad Campus since its inception and has been associated with the institute for more than two decades now. His areas of research include CO2 Capture and Utilization, Reaction Engineering, Heterogeneous Catalysis and Waste Water Treatment.
