Prof Jaideep Chatterjee is a Chemical Engineer with over 25 years of research and development experience, mostly in the area of development of water purification products.  He has been teaching as full-time Professor in Chemical Engineering for the last 4 years.  He has over 50 granted patents in multiple jurisdictions including EU, India, China, US, Australia, Brazil and Mexico among others.  Prof Jaideep specialized in colloids and interface phenomena for his PhD in Chemical Engineering, and has published several papers in international journals, in this domain.  He completed his Masters in Chemical Engineering specializing in the area of Process Control.  His current interests include water and air purification, membrane separations, colloids & interface phenomena, filtration, and system dynamics and control.  Prof Jaideep is a Life member of the Indian Institute of Chemical Engineers (IICHE) and the Indian Society for Surface Science and Technology (ISSST).  He is also a member of the International Water Association (IWA) and the American Chemical Society (ACS).  He has served as Adjunct Faculty in the Department of Chemical Engineering at IIT-Guwahati.
