About the Faculty
 
He has obtained his B.Tech degree in Electrical Engineering from NIT Durgapur and M.Tech degree in Mechatronics and Robotics from IIEST Shibpur in 2010 and 2013 respectively. He did his masters thesis work in the Robotics and Automation Group, CSIR-CMERI Durgapur from July 2012 to May 2013. He pursued PhD in Control and Automation, Dept. of Electrical Engineering, IIT Delhi and successfully defended his thesis in Sep 2019. Following this, he worked as an IRD Early Doc Fellow on the design of "Differential Flatness based Robust Control for Snake Robots" in the Dept. of Electrical Engg., IIT Delhi. Subsequently, he worked as a Research Associate in JATC-DRDO project at IIT Delhi on "Design and Development of Soft Exosuit for Human Assistance". He also worked as a Postdoctoral Researcher working on "Digital Twins for Robotic Applications" in SDU Robotics, The Maersk Mc-Kinney Moller Institute, University of South Denmark, Odense, Denmark. Currently, he is working as an Assistant Professor in the Dept. of Electrical and Electronics Engineering, BITS Pilani Hyderabad Campus. He has published his research work in several journal and conference publications. He has also published a book titled "Adaptive Robust Control for Planar Snake Robot" in the series Studies in Systems, Decision and Control, Springer.
