Successfully implimented lab equipments (50kN MTS actuator and other setup )under DST-FIST project worth 1.4 crore partially funded by institute.
Established shake table (3m x 2m) test setup from DST funding for earthquake simulation.
Established an base isolator test arrangement with cyclic horizontal loading and vertical load on specimen from DST funding.
Established Strong floor and wall support from Steel structure for Quasi-static testing of prototype and scaled building models from institute funding.
Procured various sensors such as accelerometers, potensiometers, non-contact lasor sensors, extensiometers, etc., from DST funding.
Procured Mini APS113 shake table, DAQ, accelerometers, force sensing hammer, etc., from institute funding.
Modification and hight increase in the lab, and procurement of 10 ton capacity A-Frame crane for handling heavy equipments and test specimens.
SKILLS
Experimental Equipment handling: INSTRAN based UTM, Shake table, Actuator, accelerometers, strain gauges, load cells and impulsive force hammer.
