LABORATORY
  • Incharge, Advanced Structural Engineering laboratory at BITS Pilani Hyderabad Campus  (Nov 2015 – Till date)
    • Successfully implimented lab equipments (50kN MTS actuator and other setup )under DST-FIST project worth 1.4 crore partially funded by institute.
    • Established shake table (3m x 2m) test setup from DST funding for earthquake simulation.
    • Established an base isolator test arrangement with cyclic horizontal loading and vertical load on specimen from DST funding.
    • Established Strong floor and wall support from Steel structure for Quasi-static testing of prototype and scaled building models from institute funding.
    • Procured various sensors such as accelerometers, potensiometers, non-contact lasor sensors, extensiometers, etc., from DST funding.
    • Procured Mini APS113 shake table, DAQ, accelerometers, force sensing hammer, etc., from institute funding.
    • Modification and hight increase in the lab, and procurement of 10 ton capacity A-Frame crane for handling heavy equipments and test specimens.
