Santanu Prasad Datta has done his doctoral research in the domain of Automotive Air Conditioning System from the Department of Mechanical Engineering, Indian Institute of Technology Kharagpur, India. His research interest includes refrigeration and air conditioning, experimental thermo-fluid science, energy monitoring, compact heat exchangers, dynamic system estimation and control, thermal issues in automobile. He received the certificate of commendation in 7th Bry-Air awards for excellence in HVAC&R from student’s category in 2011-2012, which is a national level competition on innovative HVAC system design sponsored by Bry Air with some leading HVAC industries from India.
