Prof V Kalaichelvi conducted a workshop on Robobuild from 9.15A.M to 11.30A.M on May 21, 2024 and began the workshop by giving an overview of Robotics, applications, activities of Students based Research Team IFOR-Intelligent Flying Object for Reconnaissance  and introduced students Mr.Abhinav Pathak, Mr.Aadish Jain and Mr.Aditya Singhal from Team IFOR to the audience.

The first part of Robobuild workshop was taught using TinkerCAD software. Students were introduced to the basics of TinkerCAD and guided on how to make circuit connections, running the code and visualizing the simulation in TinkerCAD. The total project was divided into 3 hands on runs.The first run was to rotate the arms of servomotor, the second run was to adjust the angle of the servo motor using a potentiometer and finally using an ultrasonic sensor. The assembled version of hardware demo was demonstrated by the Team IFOR students along with the support of Lab Instructor Mr.Ashwani Saini. A live demo of drone was displayed to the audience.

Prof. Ramachandran, the faculty in charge of outreach, organized this one-day workshop on May 21, 2024, from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. as part of an outreach initiative. Deputy HoD Prof. R. Swarnalatha organized this workshop on behalf of the EEE department.
