Dr. Chandra Shekhar, Professor, Department of Mathematics, BITS Pilani, Rajasthan (India) since September 2004 earned his Doctoral degree from H.N.B. Garhwal University, Srinagar, Uttarakhand (India) on topic “Some queueing models for prediction and evaluation of performance of computer systems”. Presently he is actively involved in teaching and research in the area of Engineering Mathematics, Operations Research, Optimization, Probability & Statistics and Differential Equation and having much research interest in Queueing theory, Computer and communication system, Machine repair problem, Reliability & maintainability and Stochastic process. He has number of research articles in these fields in journals of repute besides attending and presenting scientific papers in many national and international conferences and seminars. He has delivered invited talk in a national conference and is also a member of editorial board and reviewer of many reputed journals. An authorship of a text book on ‘DifferentialEquation’ is also in his credit.
Born on 14th November 1976. Whatever he is today, all by virtue of his own labour and sincerity. He is man of character, well behaved, sober and respectful for others. He is very sincere to his duty either in profession or family or social relation.
