Seminars/conferences/ workshops organized and the source of funding (national/international) with details of outstanding participants, if any

  • I with my co-conveners- Dr. Kumar Sankar Bhattacharya, Dr. Sailaja Nandigama and Prof. Devika, organized a seven- day long Academic Writing Workshop for research scholars during 5 April – 12 April 2019 which was attended by 46 research scholars and 13 faculty members from varied disciplines acted as the resource persons. 
  • As Convener I organized the Third ELT@I International Conference on Interfacing Language, Culture and Technology, October 8-9, 2012  BITS Pilani, Pilani campus. 135 delegated from India and Abroad participated and presented their papers.
  • The Birth Centenary of Gurudev Rabindra Nath Tagore on 12 May and also organized a function on the National Education Day which is celebrated to commemorate the Birth Anniversary of our first education minister of free India Maulana Abul Kalam Azad. All faculty members and students enthusiastically participated in both the events. 
  • Organized the Constitution Day on 15 December 2015 in NAB Auditorium. It was a tribute to B R Ambedkar, who played a very significant role in the framing of the Indian Constitution as the chairman of the Drafting committee of the Constituent Assembly.
  • As the Faculty In-Charge of Teaching Learning Centre I conducted 12 major events from 1 September 2020 to 31 October 2021 namely, NEP Webinars: Naya kshitij for School Teachers; Faculty Development Programme; Coding Workshop for KIDS (ICWK-2021; NEP Naya kshitij: School Teachers’ Training Workshop; ITW Workshop; NEP 2020 : Naya Kshitij for higher education – Webinar; TLC Projects; TLC Students’ Team  Blog; TALEEM: a TLC News Letter; and Setting up TLC Studio.
  • As the Chairperson, I organized a peer-reviewed International Conference on Best Innovative Teaching Strategies [ICON-BITS 2021]- BITS Pilani, Pilani campus. 172 delegated from India and Abroad participated and presented their papers.
