  • Rigorous theoretical analysis has been made to estimate the propagation characteristics of W- type optical fibres.
  • Metal clad four layer planar optical waveguides have been investigated using perturbation technique towards its application in mode discriminators used in integrated optoelectronic devices.
  • Multilayered optical waveguides have been studied as its application in connecting/ filtering devices.
  • Power confinement study is done for a DFB Laser.
  • Radiation mode characteristics have been investigated for a tapered planar Wave guide .
  • Monomode propagation of microwaves through a Teflon cylindrical rod has been established.
