Assistant Professor, Department of Electrical & Electronics Engineering, BITS Pilani, Pilani Campus
Dr. Satyendra Kumar Mourya is working as an Assistant Professor in the Department of Electrical and Electronics Engineering at the Birla Institute of Technology and Science Pilani, Pilani Campus. He received his bachelor’s degree in Electronics and Communication Engineering from Madan Mohan Malaviya Engineering College Gorakhpur, India. He earned his M. Tech. and Ph.D. degrees from National Institute of Technology Kurukshetra and Indian Institute of Technology Roorkee, respectively. His research interests include modeling and fabrication of micro/nano scale devices. In particular, he has done extensive work towards the development of ceramic and metal oxide based devices (SiC, ZnO, TiO2, Al2O3 etc.) for gas sensing, optoelectronic, energy storage, and electrochromic applications. He has quality publications in peer reviewed international SCI journals of high repute. Presently, his research group is focused towards the design and development of wide/ultra-wide bandgap semiconductor materials, flexible semiconductor materials and devices for gas sensing, extreme UV detection, and energy devices. His active collaborators are CSIR-CEERI Pilani, NPL Delhi, IIT Roorkee, IIT Patna, IISc Bengaluru, Ohio State University USA, University of California Santa Barbara, USA.
