Birla Institute of Technology & Science, Pilani- 333031, Rajasthan. India.
I have completed my Ph. D in Civil Engineering (with thesis on "Analytical and Experimental Investigation of Tidal Influence in Coastal Aquifers") from IIT Kharagpur. I did Bachelors (In Civil Engineering) from College of Engineering, Guindy, Anna University, Chennai and Master of Technology in Civil Engineering (with specialization in Hydraulic and Water Resources Engineering) from IIT, Kharagpur. I have worked as a Research Associate at Indian Institute of Technology, Gandhinagar after my PhD in Urban Water Management. Then I worked as an Associate Professor at MVJ College of Engineering, Bangaluru prior to joining BITS.

My area of interests are Groundwater Hydrology and Contaminant Transport with emphasize on Experimental and Gorundwater modeling by using numerical modeling techniques.

Candidates wishing to do LOP / SOP / RP / SAT / Thesis, please check my profile for evaluate the suitability.  First Degree (Undergraduate) students are encouraged to apply in case, a) they are ready to perform seepage tank/sandbox experiments (Hydraulics Lab) b) they are good in coding, exploring open-source modeling softwares, reading the code and able to modify. or c) good in mathematical derivations of partial differential equations. Students with basic knowledge of Engineering Hydrology are preferred.
