About the Faculty
Dr. Shailesh Trivedi obtained his Ph.D. in Mathematics from Banaras Hindu University in 2015. From 2015 to 2017, he served as a Postdoctoral Fellow at the Harish-Chandra Research Institute. Moving forward, he worked as a National Postdoctoral Fellow at the Indian Institute of Technology Kanpur from 2017 to 2018. In 2018, he was awarded the INSPIRE Faculty Fellowship and remained at IIT Kanpur as an INSPIRE Faculty until 2022. In 2022, Dr. Shailesh Trivedi joined BITS Pilani as an Assistant Professor.
Dr. Shailesh Trivedi specializes in Functional Analysis, focusing primarily on the theory of bounded linear operators in Hilbert spaces. His research encompasses spectral theory, functional models, and related areas within this field.
Research interest: Local Spectral Theory, Reproducing Kernel Hilbert Spaces, Shift Operators, Directed Graphs.
