Currently serving as the Head of sales at ATRIBS METSCON Group, Ghurair has achieved notable success, increasing sales revenue by an impressive 30% over a period of one year. Mr. Ghurair's journey began at BITS Pilani Dubai as an Electronics and Instrumentation Engineering student in 2001. Reflecting on his university days he credits much of his success now to engaging in extracurricular activities that took place on campus. Being a part of the Student Council and Chess Team at BITS Pilani, Dubai enhanced his leadership, teamwork, and communication skills, proving instrumental in his professional journey.
After his graduation in 2005, he began to climb the corporate ladder at Siemens Building Technologies, where as a Sales Engineer, he managed inventory orders for a global team of 5 sales representatives. This experience provided Ghurair with insights into the intricacies of supply chain dynamics, the significance of timely order fulfillment, and the need for cultural awareness in a global sales environment.
Moving forward, Ghurair strategically broadened his expertise by joining the ATRIBS METSCON Group. Here, he led a team of 11 sales, operations, and customer service representatives, contributing to an annual recurring revenue of AED 120 Million. His management philosophy emphasizes effective collaboration through open communication, regular goal-setting meetings, and cross-functional training, and fostering a cohesive work environment.
