Your donation will go directly to BITS/BITSAA towards The Golden 74 Scholarship Endowment.

Even small contributions are most welcome, as participation from the maximum number of batchmates is our priority. Rest assured, your donation amount will remain confidential. High-net-worth individuals (HNI) from our batch can contribute more, ensuring a greater impact.

Key Information:

• This is a perpetual fund, where interest generated will cover tuition fees and living expenses.

• If the interest earned is insufficient to match the fee, a top-up will be arranged to ensure sustainability.

• Donations can be made from anywhere in the world and will be consolidated in India.

• Tax benefits are available in India, the US, and Canada.

  • BITSAA will provide tax statements for US donors.

  • BITS will provide tax statements for donors in India and Canada.

• Company Matches are encouraged – if your company offers matching donations, please inform us to help track contributions.

1. Donations should be made to the appropriate account based on the donor’s passport nationality.

2. International passport holders must transfer funds to the FCRA account and provide:

1. 1. Full international address

   2. Copy of passport

      

   3. Signed declaration (regardless of whether the transfer is from an Indian or foreign bank account).

3. Indian passport holders must transfer funds to an Indian bank account, even if the transfer originates from abroad.

4. The passport, not the bank location, determines which account should be used

• You will receive an acknowledgment of the transfer within a week of sending the transaction details.
• The donations are non-refundable.
• There is a 5% fee on all donations for this campaign through BITSAA to cover the administration expenses per BITSAA MOU.
